Arkansas freshmen Taylor Werner, Maddy Reed and Abby Gray placed second, fifth and sixth in the fast section of the women's 5,000 meters at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University. Werner set the Arkansas freshman record and became the fastest freshman in the country this year by clocking 15:51.08, Reed improved to the nation's No. 6 freshman at 16:04.43 and Gray elevated to the country's No. 7 freshman at 16:06.60.
