Fouad Messaoudi, a sophomore at Oklahoma State representing Morocco, placed second in the top section of the men's invitational 1,500 meters in 3:35.16 at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University's Cougar Stadium in Azusa, Calif. Messaoudi was the top collegiate athlete overall, with Cooper Teare of Nike Bowerman Track Club winning the race in 3:34.96.
