Ole Miss senior Craig Engels placed second in the fast section of the men's 1,500 meters in 3:37.75, just off his personal-best 3:37.66, at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University. Engels is the fastest American in the world this year and No. 3 overall, trailing Josh Kerr of New Mexico and Great Britain (3:35.99) and Brazil's Thiago Andre (3:37.39).
