Cedarville (Ohio) junior Carsyn Koch won the fast section of the women's 1,500 meters in 4:12.19 at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University. Koch ran the fastest time by an American this year and No. 2 in the world. Only Jessica Pixler of Seattle Pacific and Teena Colebrook of Cal Poly Pomona have ever run faster at the Division 2 level than Koch, who lowered her personal best by more than 12 seconds.
